Content of each partnership offer:

Level 1: Primary sponsor.

The primary sponsor receives the most effective visibility via all our communication tools but also at the Festival village. The place of first sponsor is limited to 2 sponsors maximum. Some of the primary sponsors we had since 2011 :

  • Pentax Europe to promote their latest waterproof camera,
  • the Drôme department (area of the OCF) to promote the Drôme valley as a major outdoor sports destination,
  • Au Vieux Campeur, outdoor shops to confirm their position of outdoor gear specialists.
  • Esquif Canoës + Canoë Diffusion : Canadian famous canoe brand and its European distributor.

The primary sponsor:

  • Presents the Open Canoe Festival with an exclusive opportunity to brand the  website header with a corporate logo.
  • Signs the banner of the Newsletters sent to 3000 contacts.
  • Signs the official OCF T-shirt (650 copies) with the biggest logo position on the back of the T-shirt.
  • Presents and sign the official video with a privileged visibility in the content.
  • Receives the biggest visibility at the OCF village with banners, among others right above the big marquee main entrance.
  • Signs the official program with its logo (print run : 600 copies).
  • Receives a package of 25 pictures, free of rights.
  • Exhibitor fee offered.
  • Brochures added to the Goodies bag.
  • Free accommodation at the Festival (4 persons).

Level 2: Official partners.

After the primary sponsor, the official partners receive the biggest visibility. Since 2010, numerous brands and companies have used the OCF exposure to promote their products and services to a large audience, bigger than the Festival itself.

The official partners:

  • Expose their logo on the OCF website : in the footer (size 1) and the Partners section.
  • Expose their logo in the Newsletters sent to 3000 contacts (footer, size 1).
  • Sign the official OCF T-shirt (650 copies) with their logo on the back of the T-shirt.
  • Sign the official video (logo size 1, partners section).
  • Show their presence at the OCF village with banners.
  • Expose their logo in the official program (print run : 600 copies, partners section, logo size 1).
  • Receive a package of 10 pictures, free of rights.
  • Brochures added to the Goodies bag.
  • Exhibitor fee offered.

Level 3: Official suppliers.

Official suppliers have a very important position in the Festival organization, which gives them a privileged exposure. Clothes, apparels, shuttle services, river sandals… : examples are numerous and all the products and brands are promoted by the OCF staff at the heart of the Festival.

Official suppliers:

  • Expose their logo in the OCF website : in the footer (size 2) and the Partners section.
  • Expose their logo in the Newsletters sent to 3000 contacts (footer, size 2).
  • Sign the official video (logo size 2, partners section).
  •  Show their presence at the OCF village with banners.
  • Show their logo in the official program (print run : 600 copies, partners section, logo size 2).
  • Receive a package of 10 pictures, free of rights.

Level 4: Workshops sponsors.

The workshops and their instructors make the originality and program richness of the Open Canoe Festival. People come to the OCF not only to spend an unforgettable weekend, but also to learn : how to use a safety rope, bring a camera on the river and take some pictures, track beavers, eat like a king while bivouacking, choose the right tent and sleeping bag, get the right gear… Several brands asked for the opportunity to get closer to the workshop contents by supporting them directly. Few examples :

  • Outdoor cooking workshop : outdoor cooking gear, dehydrated food, food supplements…
  • Photo workshop : waterproof camera brands, waterproof housings and bags…
  • Safety workshop : safety ropes, helmets, PFDs…
  • Beginners workshop : beginners canoes, paddles and other equipment…
  • Bivouac workshop : tents, tarps,headlights, knives, chargers, GPS..

Workshop sponsors:

  • Present the workshop of their choice on the numerous communication tools : website, official program (600 copies), Newsletters 3000 contacts, video content. Example : “Art of bivouac” workshop powered by tents X or headlights Y.
  • Show their presence at the specific workshop with banners.
  • Participants can use their products during the workshop.
  • Receive a package of 5 pictures, free of rights.
  • Brochures added to the Goodies bag.
  • Exhibitor fee offered.

Level 5: Exhibitors.

Exhibitors who already participated to the Festival can confirm : the OCF works, it sells ! The participants have the time to discover the products and test them. Once again, if canoe gear brands are naturally attracted by the Festival, outdoor gear and apparel brands are more and more present. In 2019, some of them did more than 8000 € total sales, getting some additional visibility thanks to the OCF communication tools. Some exhibitors examples : canoes, paddles, accessories, PFDs, neoprene gear, water boots and sandals, cameras, first aid kits, outdoor knives, safety ropes, bushcraft gear, tarps and tents, outdoor clothes and shoes, waterproof bags and housings, canoe art crafts, energy drinks, dehydrated food, water filters, drysuits, outdoor wear…

Exhibitors:

  • Show their presence on the different communication tools : program, website, Newsletters…
  • Brochures added to the Goodies bag.
  • Have the possibility to offer some product tests during 3 days.
  • Receive a package of 3 pictures to promote their presence before and after the Festival .

Level 6 : OCF Supporters.

We created this partnership level for the companies who really appreciate the OCF but which are not able to attend it. This way, they show their sympathy for the Festival and its values. Supporters are offered serious exposure with the possibility to add their brochure in the Goodies bag.

Supporters :

  • Show their presence on the different communication tools : program, website, Newsletters…
  • Brochures added to the Goodies bag.
  • Receive a package of 3 pictures to promote their support to the Festival .

Level 7: Prize suppliers.

The big prize lottery is a very important moment at the Festival. In 2019, more than 7500 € in prizes were offered, which contributes to the friendly atmosphere of the OCF. The prize lottery is also a great way to promote your products. We ask all our partners to provide some prizes. It’s also possible to provide some without participating to the OCF, but it would be too bad to miss such a great event !

  • Brochures added to the Goodies bag.
  • Depending on the value of their prizes, receive a couple of pictures to promote their support to the Festival .
