How to register online for the workshops

It's time to make your choice for the navigation workshops!

Once again this year, to make signing up for the workshops easier, the OCF is launching an online pre-registration system! No more queuing on the day! Take a moment to check this page to make sure you don’t miss out!

Step 1: prepare your pre-registration!

To pre-register you will need:

1. Your first name, last name, email and phone number
2. Your level, which you can assess here.
3. Your partner's name if you are paddling in tandem.

Step 2: Understanding the workshops at the festival

As a reminder, the Festival has two types of workshops, on the water and on the ground.

You can only register today for the workshops on the water, i.e. paddling with an instructor.

As places are limited, you can only choose 2 workshops on water for the whole weekend, with a limit of one workshop on water per day (you have to share!).

Step 3: Read the schedule and choose your favorite workshops.

Here is the full 2026 programme for you to choose from:

Lake Workshops – Friday 1 May and Sunday 3 May

Following the success of the 2025 event, we are offering lake workshops this year! We have a range of topics, from beginner to expert level, to complement our workshop programme! (in violet on the programme)

Grande Descente Workshops – Saturday 2 May

As every year, we will also be offering accompanied descents with our instructors to tackle the Grande Descente on Saturday 2 May! Around sixty places will be available for online booking. These count towards the weekend’s workshop quota. It’s a unique opportunity to paddle with an instructor for half a day to enjoy the river and continue improving your skills!

Shuttle service for independent paddling and boat trials

This year, we’re offering those who wish to do so the chance to use our shuttle service to paddle independently and enjoy the Drôme, or to try out a boat through one of our on-site partners! You can pre-book a slot online to guarantee your place on these shuttles.

Friday 17 April 2026 – around midday

You will receive an email containing a link to pre-register for the water-based workshops. Again, please take the time to fill in your details carefully; this will prevent you from running into any errors!

Step 1: Select your Workshop 1 with the instructor or theme of your choice.

The workshops are listed by day and by instructor. Have you made your choice? Perfect!

• Select the workshop according to the places available and the desired day. If you are paddling in tandem, you can also register your partner directly with you in order to block his place, but you do need to select two paddlers on the interface, he will not have to register on his side, the quotas being individual (and in order not to register your partner twice).

• Fill in the requested details and get ready to give your best scouting word! 😎 You'll have to accept the OCF fairness rule! Simply tick the box to accept.

Step 2: Select your second workshop with the instructor or theme of your choice.

Following the same method as for your first workshop, register for your second water workshop.

That's it! You are pre-registered!

Step 3: Check your emails for registration confirmations.

That’s it! You’re pre-registered! You will receive a confirmation by email, check if everything is okay. You will also find all the required information about your workshop.

We check every registration to ensure everyone has the best possible experience! We’re counting on you to follow the registration system and stick to the limit of one workshop per person.

Although our system is designed to prevent mistakes, we’re counting on you – any attempt at fraud will result in your workshop registration being cancelled, so please play fair! 🙂

Step 4: once you arrive at the festival, all you’ll need to do is sign up for the land-based workshops (marked in green on the programme).

Don’t panic, there’ll be plenty for everyone! There’s no limit on places for the on-land workshops, so everyone can find something to suit them to complement their on-water workshops!
