POOLIDOR is an electronic music duo that blends traditional folk music from France’s Berry region with North African musical influences. Their raw, hypnotic sound combines organic instruments and percussion with the shimmering waves of electronic music.
On stage, a hurdy-gurdy fitted with pedals and a bicycle wheel faces off against a vinyl turntable. This wonderfully unconventional, timeless setup is complemented by electronic machines, a violin and vocals.
Having played together for many years, the two musicians take the audience on a joyful, spellbinding journey into a collective trance. POOLIDOR is much more than just a concert: it's a captivating sonic and visual experience and, above all, an irresistible invitation to dance!
